Tagetes erecta : This 2010 All-America Selections winner has large, fully double blossoms with deep orange color that hold up well over an extended period. The blossoms are long lasting, and as the plants grow, the old blooms cover with dark green foliage which keeps the plants looking fresh and increasingly full as the season advances. Blossoms measure 2-1/2” – 3-1/2”. Full sun.

Queen Sophia Marigold Seedling (OG) ~ $ 2.45
QTY

(Tagetes patula) - Queen Sophia was an All-America Selection in 1978, and Highly Recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1983. It is also our most popular marigold variety. We are pleased to make it available in seedling form. A French marigold, Queen Sophia produces 3" double, russet-red flowers with a golden picotee along the edges. Its compact size makes it versatile and useful in almost any garden situation: borders, interplanted with vegetables and in containers. This strain is noted for its nematocidal properties. 10-12" tall. 60 days.
