(Rudbeckia hirta) - This sparkling yellow wildflower is reminiscent of summertime fields and prairies. Indian Summer is an All America Selection, noteworthy for its large single and semidouble golden flowers. Its long bloom period makes it an ideal addition to the perennial garden, because it is often blooming when other perennials are not, beginning in July and continuing until frost. It is easy to please, asking for sun, little water, and virtually any type soil. It has long stems, good for cutting. Grows 3-3-1/2'tall.

Tagetes erecta : This 2010 All-America Selections winner has large, fully double blossoms with deep orange color that hold up well over an extended period. Widely adapted, Moonsong Deep Orange tolerates heat and drought and grows well in beds or containers. The erect plants reach 12-15” tall and 14” wide. The blossoms are long lasting, and as the plants grow, the old blooms cover with dark green foliage which keeps the plants looking fresh and increasingly full as the season advances. (Tagetes patula) - Queen Sophia was an All-America Selection in 1978, and Highly Recommended by the Royal Horticultural Society in 1983. It is also our most popular marigold variety. We are pleased to make it available in seedling form. A French marigold, Queen Sophia produces 3" double, russet-red flowers with a golden picotee along the edges. Its compact size makes it versatile and useful in almost any garden situation: borders, interplanted with vegetables and in containers. This strain is noted for its nematocidal properties. 10-12" tall. 60 days.
