Bull's Blood Beet (OG) ~ $ 2.50

Bull's Blood are grown for their midnight purple/plum colored leaves with scarlet midribs, which add vibrant color and texture to salads. Harvest the leaves when 3-4" long for specialty salads; plants yield at least three harvests. This variety prefers poor soil, providing more color when stressed. 4 gm./pkt., approx. 230 seeds, enough to sow a 10' row. 35 days for leaves, 58 days for roots.

Chioggia Beet (OG) ~ $ 2.75

This heirloom variety is named for a city on Italy's Adriatic coast, Chioggia's dark ruby red skin covers a bi-colored interior of red and white alternating rings of color. They are beautiful sliced and add a wonderful accent to salads or vegetable dishes. 55 days. 4 gm./pkt, approx. 240 seeds, enough to sow a 25 ft. row.

Cylindra beet (OG) ~ $ 2.50

NEW! The 5” long, cylindrical roots of this sweet-tasting beet make efficient use of garden space and are easy to peel and slice due to their uniform shape and size. Fine grained with a purple exterior and dark red interior, Cylindra can be roasted, baked, steamed and pickled. Also known as Formanova, this variety was developed in Denmark in the 1880’s. 54 days.

Early Wonder Tall Top Beet (OG) ~ $ 2.50

This is the earliest beet variety. It produces slightly conical shaped red beets 3-4" in diameter attached to glossy green leaves with long red stems and midribs.
