Copia is an open pollinated cross between two popular tomato varieties, Marvel Stripe and Green Zebra. A mid-sized slicing tomato, Copia features a yellow background decorated with an overlay of red, zebra-like stripes. The interior is marbleized red and yellow similar to Marvel Stripe. Copia tomato was named after the now defunct Copia Center for Wine, Food, and the Arts in Napa, California. Our original seed stock was provided to us by Jeff Dawson, who developed the strain. 25-35 seeds per packet.

This traditional favorite from Italy is robust and hearty with distinctive lobes along the sides. When sliced and eaten fresh they give the fruit attractive scalloped edges.
