Black Beauty (OG) ~ $ 2.75

This open-pollinated strain of dark skinned zucchini was originally introduced in the 1920's and was an All-America Selection in 1957. While not as productive as Dunja, Black Beauty produces good quality zucchini with dark skins and nice white flesh. 30 seeds. 55 days.

Cocozelle Zucchini (OG) ~ $ 2.50

An heirloom zucchini dating back to 19th century Italy, Cocozelle produces slender fruits with alternating light and dark green stripes on smooth, thin skins. The plant is a bush which grows a manageable 2 - 3 feet in diameter, so Cocozelle may be grown in rows, raised beds, or even large containers. For best texture and flavor the fruits should be harvested when they are 6-8" long, which takes 45 - 50 days. Open pollinated. 20-30 seeds/pkt.

Costata Romanesco Zucchini (OP) ~ $ 2.75

Believed by many to be the best tasting Italian heirloom zucchini. This is a large, leafy bush variety, and although production is less than some zucchini, the taste and texture are excellent. Fruits are medium gray-green with noteworthy ribs. The flowers are large and ideal for stuffing and cooking. 20 - 30 seeds/pkt. 52 days.

Dunja Zucchini (F1, OG) ~ $ 3.75

The fruits of this refined strain of zucchini have glossy, finely speckled dark green skin. The plants are compact with an open habit which makes tending and harvesting easy. High yielding over an extended period, Dunja has a high percentage of fruits of excellent quality. Resistant to powdery mildew. Early: 47 days. 25 seeds.

Golden Zucchini (OG) ~ $ 2.50

NEW! Developed by the W. Atlee Burpee company in 1973, Golden Zucchini was the original yellow zucchini cultivar. Fruits are golden yellow, slightly broader at the blossom end. The plants are productive and have an open bush habit for easy harvest. 20-30 seeds. 55 days.

Goldy Zucchini (F1, OG) ~ $ 3.95

Goldy Zucchini produces attractive, uniformly cylindrical zucchini with smooth white flesh and excellent rich flavor. Goldy's open growth habit and the relatively long peduncle attaching the fruit to the plant make harvesting easy. The plants bear fruit over a very long production period, giving them high yield potential. 55 days. 20 seeds.

Magda Summer Squash (F1) ~ $ 3.50

Best tasting of the middle-eastern style squashes. The fruits are tapered, light green, and exhibit a sweet, nutty flavor. Pick when small for the best quality and flavor. High yielding. 48 days.

Y-Star Summer Squash (F1, OG) ~ $ 4.75

Similar to G-Star but with shining yellow skin and a decorative green spot on the blossom end. The fruit is borne on peduncles on plants with an open growth habit, making them easy to find and harvest. The fruits may be picked up to 5" in diameter, and are nearly seedless at this size with smooth white flesh. They keep well after picking. 25 seeds. 50 days.

Yellow Crookneck Summer Squash (OG) ~ $ 2.50

One of the great summer squash varieties. Yellow Crookneck performs consistently with excellent results, producing bright yellow fruits that are loaded with luxurious buttery flavor. Pick them small, 4-5" long, to capture their best flavor. 58 days. 20-30 seeds/pkt.

Zephyr (F1) ~ $ 3.65

You'll love the designer appearance of this crookneck squash, but the main reason to grow Zephyr is for the excellent flavor. Harvested young, when the fruits are 4-6" long, they exhibit a noteworthy nutty taste. Yellow fruits are tipped in green at the blossom end. Very productive. Bush variety. 54 days. 20-30 seeds per packet.
