Fordhook Giant's mild flavor and vigorous growth habit make it the standard for green chard. The leaves are heavily savoyed, dark green, with white veins and stalks. Grows 20-28" tall, and tolerates both heat and cold. This heirloom variety was introduced by W. Atlee Burpee and Co. in 1934. Approximately 1,870 seeds/oz.
