Lacinato is an heirloom Italian kale variety adapted to both cold winter and warm summer days. The leaves are dimpled, dark-blue-green with a white mid-rib. Leaves can be harvested at "baby" size for use in salads or full sized for cooking. They are sweet and tender at either stage. 16-24" tall. 64 days. Approximately 6,270 seeds/oz.
1 gram per packet, average 240 seeds.
One packet will sow a 4' row for baby leaf production at 60 seeds/ft. For mature leaves transplant seedlings or sow 3-4 seeds every 12-18" and thin to 1 plant.
