Hakurei Turnip (F1)  #3026

Hakurei is the best tasting turnip, known for its mild sweet flavor. The roots are globe shaped and snowy white; the dark green tops are smooth and edible, too. Hakurei is a favorite salad ingredient in Japan, where it is eaten fresh and sauteed. 35 days. Approximately 11,560 seeds/oz.

1 gram per packet, about 400 seeds.

One packet sows 10-20' at 1" apart in a 2-4" wide band. For larger turnips sow seeds 2" apart.
